Ashbourne Cardiac First Responders – Open Meeting

On the 9th of May, 2013 there will be an open meeting at Donaghmore-Ashbourne GAA club for several reasons:

  • To give information on what it means to be a Community First Responders (CFR), including the training involved
  • To update everyone on the progress made so far and the plans to get ACFR ready to go live
  • To recruit anyone that might be interested in getting involved and hasn’t heard about ACFR yet

So … we look forward to seeing as many of you as can make it at the meeting and please spread the word to anyone you think might be interested. We will have CPR and AED (Defibrillator) training equipment at the meeting so anyone that might be interested but is unsure of what’s involved or even nervous about participating can get their questions answered and get some hands-on time on the training gear. There will be several experienced responders (EMT and Paramedics) at the meeting that will be happy to explain what it means to be a first responder.

If you have any questions in the meantime please feel free to e-mail
